✦ Fun Fact 1: Firefighter Dragoon’s theme is based upon Tyson literally dreaming of becoming a Firefighter as a career goal XD, Ik it’s quite random for sure, but I felt like nothing represented heroism and bravery like a fireman, and that’s the primary reason why Dragoon was transformed into a goofy firefighter!

✦ Fun Fact 2: Firefighter Dragoon gives off the same iconic vibes as Freddy from Five Nights at Freddy’s, a Horror game I used to love watching video’s about and totally flopped the game, but I love that Dragoon feels like the leader of the group, he feel’s like the one beypet everyone would absolutely know about and see as the one representing the main beypet gang, and he’s just so silly to me, but that’s why I love him, he can be both terrifying and funny at the same time!

✦ Fun Fact 3: Firefighter Dragoon sees the other beypets as found family, even despite all of them coming from different backgrounds, I’d imagine he has a chaotic relationship particularly with Debonair and Pegasus since he enjoys hanging out with them and the three get Into all sorts of trouble together, like for instance “Dragoon: Hey it’d be pretty fun to get a ton of those donuts over there, wanna share some? Pegasus: Absolutely! How nice of you, I’ve been dying for some sweets lately! Dranzer: Hmph, I believe that we should precocious about taking such sweets from that bakery, what if we get caught, possibly even taken to pound’s for dishonorable crimes, I must advise against that idea, though you two should understand the risks by now” Dragoon: Oh Cmon stop being so stuck up Debonair, why cheer up for some fun with us, I know you’ll love at least one!? Just some Ideas of their dialogue lol.

✦ Fun Fact 1: Dranzer Debonair was one of the designs I can confidently say I took a lot of inspiration to craft his design, but one of the most difficult aspects of his design was figuring out his Tuxedo, since I couldn’t determine if I wanted to make his Tuxedo black or white to match Kai’s white valedictorian suit, therefore I make Dranzer’s suit white as well and gave him a stylish belt and pants so that the whole suit ties together, and the reason why he’s wearing a Tuxedo outfit is because his family celebrates a sense of prestige in their roots, and Kai’s family has many waitresses and Butlers who have a sense of esteemed fashion as well, so Dranzer Debonair reflects his family’s values with his very aesthetic and outfit!

✦ Fun Fact 2: The Last name “Debonair” came from me desperately trying to come up with a last name that suited his new personality, role, and new sense of style, at first I came up with names like “Chandelier” “Ellington” “Connor” or anything that would have made sense to me to give a him a new last name, but after trying a few iterations with a D, I finally gave up “Connor” and went with “Debonair” instead since it sounded like a great fit and matched his new identity, so that’s how I came up with Dranzer’s last name, Debonair!

✦ Fun Fact 3: Dranzer Debonair Acts like a Loyal Servant to Kai, He strives to fulfill his every wish and command and to prove himself worthy of Kai’s devotion and companionship, I believe that Dranzer Debonair has the most integrity of any Beypets, even if he comes from the same origins as all other Beypets, which is why even if he were to betray Kai even once, he would do so out of reverence and honestly, which is why I want to continue exploring his character even if he’s still in development!

✦ Fun Fact 1: Whimtastical Pegasus’s name actually came from me joking about how ridiculous Pegasus would be in this au, like literally I had no idea what kind of redesign/subversion she would even had and at first I just thought of a wizard hat and spiral glasses for some reason because I thought it’d fit Gingka’s nerdy personality, but eventually I had to come up with something pretty wild and weird to actually make her new redesign work, and so while I was researching some name choices, I came up with the idea of “Whimsical” because I wanted Pegasus to really stand out from Dranzer Debonair or Firefighter Dragoon, and so I took her name even further and named her “Whimtastical Pegasus” because of how whimsical and fantastic her design and attitude towards life would be, and that’s why she’s called Whimtastical Pegasus! Also, “Whim” sounds so cheeky to me lol. :)

✦ Fun Fact 2: I know that the Pink/Purple-ish Color Palette is a pretty bold choice, considering Pegasus was always a light blue and never was seen as pink or Purple, but the reason why Pegasus has pink skin is because when I struggled to choice the right colors for this new design, a part of me really wanted to keep Pegasus’s original colors (Light blue, etc) because I wanted to honor that aspect of Pegasus original portrayal, however despite my best attempts, Pegasus just didn’t look right with blue colors, and eventually led to a color mashup that I could only describe as being inspired by “Northern” or winter colors at the end of the day, so I went went pink….and it turned out pretty amazing! Like her design surprisingly works well despite all the colors and complex details, I did especially want to simplify the badge at the center of her band, I want a gold star rather than something way too detail, so I keep that in mind whenever I want to approach designs again ion the future, but that’s the story of how she got her pink/purple new look!

✦ Fun Fact 3: In My au I imagined Whimtastical Pegasus not only as a fun Beypet to Gingka, but also as a best-friend/bestie companion too, I’m still creating and thinking of interactions between the two, but I wanted to note that since it’s something I’m planning on working on as I go along, but I wanted to share some interesting in things about Pegasus in my au since she has so much potential and is already compelling!

✦ Fun Fact 1: I was really Inspired by Motorcycle Girls when Designing Valorent Valtryek as a Concept because It’s so cool to me like even watching videos of bad-ass woman on bikes and I thought to redesign Valtryek that way because I was so inspired! and to be Honest I feel like the Redesign works since I wanted to go with a more edgier and even more boundary-pushing concept than Whimtastical Pegasus previously, and I even went with Dark colors like Black, Purple, Pink, and even white to hone in the vibe, and I’m so impressed with how bold and awesome Valtryek looks alongside Valorent too!

✦ Fun Fact 2: Okay so I know that this is a particular thing, But I kinda hated how despite Valtryek in Beyblade Burst being implied to be feminine, I kinda disliked how her design didn’t look too expressive of those qualities, I kinda felt like while I loved Valtryek’s evolution across seasons, I feel like the designs got more complex rather than intentional, and that’s why this new redesign really hits home for me even if it’s really different, because I love how pretty and unique this redesign feels, and the intentionality feels more like it came from a place of passion rather than just marketing, which is why the Biker/Vigilante aesthetic for Valorent Valtryek just feels like such an amazing evolution of Valtryek!

✦ Fun Fact 3: So I know that Valorent and Valtryek do look pretty different from each other, but I think that is because different ideas were really clashing with each other, because for Valorent I was specifically looking for a more emo/scene look for her horse design, and for Valtryek I was looking for a more Biker aesthetic with her design, so understandably I’m not surprised the two clashed together and somehow…worked? I mean it’s not really easy to describe a combination of ideas into one major design (A Motorcycle Fusion), but I feel like I love how Valorent still feels like a meaningful addition to Valtryek despite having different design choices from her, Valorent still has her own personality and still stands out as her own character despite being alongside Valtryek and the two meant being together as a singular form, which is why I can still appreciate the effort I put into this redesign as a whole, because I believe it’s not only fascinating how such a design was created, but also really impressive considering it took me months to put it altogether, so I can confidently say that Valorent Valtryek is one of my Best Designs (And Characters!) in my PSGBeyblade Au!

✦ Fun Fact 1: L-Kanju was initially inspired as a concept redesign by 90s Hip-Hop Fashion! I thought that since PSGBeyblade took influences from 60s-90s culture, especially American influences, I decided to take inspiration by giving him accessories like Gold Shutter Glasses (Popular back then!) Gucci Cuff bracelets, of course, Golden “G” and Gucci Signs on his tail, a Black Boombox with similar patterns to Ryuga’s Gucci Bomber Jacket, and Little details like Rings and Chains to make his design more decorative alongside a classic white Tank top! And I took Japanese influence by adding Kanji Symbols to his Design! Which, in order, reads (情 (Jō), 欲 (Yoku), 炎 (Honō), 淫 (In), 愛 (Ai) as a really interesting and fun detail to his design!

✦ Fun Fact 2: I gave L-Kanju a Boom box because I felt like him playing Beats and Music would be so entertaining and tbh it’s just a cool accessory I added because I personally love music of any kind, whether it’s dubstep, bass, or any other kind of music, so the boom box is actually kinda personal as well, and plus it fit’s into the World-building aesthetic I’m aiming for!

✦ Fun Fact 3: the Reason L-Kanju Has Stitches Across his Body is because I was still considering the lore of whether or not he came from Frakenstein origins (Like Artifically) created, so I created versions with and without the stitches while still taking the lore i’m building into consideration, so yeah, and also, I’ve heard “Snitches get Stitches” to many times lol, so yeah just a little note on that.
